CHERISH & GROW THE ANOINTING

John 1:12
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"

YESTERDAY at the office, one of our clients who ordered for a job to be printed came back at about after about one hour to get it and leave. I then asked one of my staff to get it from the store room where we keep all customers job yet to be received.

When he got it, he handed it over to the client. When the client saw he felt happy, for it was sharp, clean and clear, even other clients who were around testified to it. However, when he saw another customers job lying open on the floor he gaze at it and said, "this one look shaper and clear than mine" I turned to him and said "your job is different from his, and still everyone here testifies that you got a beautiful job printed, you know it".

You see most times we don't appreciate what we have or who we are just because we compare ourselves with others. We tend to think that other people's possession or gift are better that ours, we complain and explain thinking and believing that what we have don't match up to what others have been given or who others are, yet those who sees us admire our value which we have not yet begin to value.

Now, God has given us certain amount of gifts, possessions and anointing we should enjoy and must use to benefit others around us. We should therefore learn to cherish the precious anointing God Almighty has bestowed upon us all and most importantly grow the anointing! because whatever we don't value reduces value.

Our opening verse in John 1:12 reads "But as many as received him, to them gave he power(right or anointing) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name". 

As a believer you have an anointing that must be cherish and nurtured. Don't allow the anointing to become and annoying thing! Don't ignore what you have and start envying the gifts of other people rather begin today to cherish and grow the anointing for the general good and benefits of others to the glory of God the father!

That clients of ours later saw how beautiful and bright his own job was and left with it feeling better and happier! In life, we get sad when we compare others with the things we think we don't have.

I pray for you, that  your eyes be open to know and see the value of the anointing God has deposited inside of you in Jesus mighty name!
