Hebrews 13: 6

So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
One day, I overheard someone say that "if every goodthing you've  ever gotten came  through  your effort, then you are very far from favour!"

This means favour is one-way to terminate struggling and fruitless effort!

David was one of such  man that enjoyed favour from God. Psalms 121 vs 1; reads _"I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?"_

It shows that the psalmist understood that favour comes when one is helped! It means you are helped by God.

Hebrews 13 vs 6 reads; _"So we may bodly say, the Lord is my help._

The previous verse reads;

Let your conduct (manner of life) be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Now can you declare this bodly, loud and clear;

The Lord is my help!

The Lord is my strength
The Lord is my hiding place in trouble!
The Lord is my source of favour!
The Lord is my rock!
He is my shield!
He is my HELP!

You are blessed!
