The Advantage: Frontliner Opportunities

I ran into an old friend yesterday. Somewhere we both hang out. She looked healthier. More relaxed. That glow you can’t fake.

When I asked, she just said “I’m relaxed.”

That 2-minute chat was a frontliner opportunity. Right there. In my face. Free game from someone living proof it works.

Why many don’t take advantage

1. We don’t see it

Opportunities rarely show up with a banner. They look like a casual convo, a friend’s result, a small change. If you’re not looking, you’ll think it’s just small talk.

2. We dismiss it.

“She’s just lucky.” “That won’t work for me.” We downplay what’s right in front of us because it seems too simple. Relaxed? That can’t be the answer. So we chase complicated instead.

3. We wait for perfect timing

Frontliner opportunities cross you once. If you pause to “think about it later,” later never comes. She was there, relaxed and ready to share. Next time she might not be.

Your advantage isn’t luck. It’s noticing + asking + trying.

Most people miss it because they’re busy waiting for a bigger sign.

What frontliner opportunity crossed your path this week that you almost missed?
