EXPERIENCE HIS LOVE FOR YOURSELF

Ephesians 3 :19 AMPLIFIED
And [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself].
Have you ever heard this before “God is love”?
I know you certainly have heard this severally and wonder how that God is love, but notice it didn’t say God has love or God gives love but that God is Love.
And that’s really remarkable and of course it make us even want to pay more attention to it just by thinking about it.
However, you may never come to understand exactly how that God is love if his very nature is not first formed in your own heart.
That was the prayer of Paul for the Church at Ephesus in verse 17 to 18 of Ephesians 3.
Paul prayed that Christ may dwell in our heart through faith (or trust) in Him and that the effect of that trust will naturally result into being deeply and truly rooted and grounded in love-the love of God.
Again, he prayed that the church will have Christ formed in our heart through faith and then have God’s very nature fully formed in them.
This will happen (having God's love or presence) only as we trust or have faith in Christ.
That’s the anchor of this message; we need to experience God’s love in our heart by ourselves first because only a practical experience is the way to fully understand God’s love to its fullness.
For example,
you may not understand that someone paid a sacrifice for you except he told you it was his last pocket money to feed.
You will only become more aware and thankfull to your friend for instance, when you realize he gave up his last money for lunch just to ensure your comfort..thats sacrifice.
That's almost the same scenario Paul was talking about here, we need to understand for ourselves the sacrifice God made through his Son to be able to comprehend his magnificent love for us through faith in his son.
So God is truly love and he wants us to communicate that love to others too.
Again, this experience can only happen as we learn to exercise our faith or trust in God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Now declare this:
Dear father, I thank you because I experience the fullness of your love in my heart through faith in your Son. I carry your divine presence everywhere I go because of your love in my heart. I am conscious that each day you are forming your presence more and more in me to be an expression of your love to others everywhere I go.
Halleluyah
You are blessed!
